This service is designed to help job seekers access and afford education, training, and supportive services that will help them advance and succeed in their careers.
Courses and Trainings
We can support up to two years of training for in-demand occupations, including short-term certificates, an Associate degree, or the final two years of a Bachelor's degree.

Things to Keep in Mind
- Training program must be provided by educational institutions approved by State of Ohio (WIET list).
- Training program must lead to an in-demand occupation.
- The WIOA program is NOT an entitlement program and all participants must meet the eligibility and suitability criteria.
- Special funding for training and education is available to dislocated workers who have lost their job through layoffs, plant closings, or foreign competition.
